This special edition cover set was created for LitJoy Crate for the bestselling Selection Series by Kiera Cass, which follows America Singer as she competes in a royal selection for the heart of Prince Maxon.
The design concept focused on one of the most iconic elements of the series — America’s dresses. Each cover features a close-up illustration inspired by the gowns she wears throughout the story.
The dust jackets were designed as clear overlays with gold foil detailing, creating the feeling of opening a dress box. When the jacket is removed, the hardcover beneath reveals the illustrated “dress,” as if uncovering the gown inside.
I illustrated the slipcase as a royal armoire, designed to resemble a wardrobe where these dresses would be stored in the palace. Together, the slipcase, dust jacket, and covers create an immersive collector’s edition experience that blends elegant fashion and storytelling book design.
